Pokemon Go: The Developer Announced Collaboration With Sprint

On Wednesday, the developer of Pokemon Go, Niantic said it would partner with Sprint.

Niantic announced that they are working with the telecommunications giant Sprint to create a special Pokemon Go experience at over 10,500 Sprint locations around the United States.

"As part of this collaboration, Sprint, Boost Mobile, and Sprint at Radioshack stores will become PokeStops and Gyms, giving you even more places to stock up on Poke Balls and Razz Berries and to battle your friends," Niantic explained. "Sprint locations will also feature in-store charging stations to keep your Pokemon Go sessions going even longer." Pokemon Go players can go to Sprint, Boost, and Sprint  S 7.47%  at RadioShack locations to recharge phones, get data plans, collect in-game items, including Poke balls and eggs, and battle with their favorite characters.

Sprint also brings a great network and an unlimited data plan to support your search for Pokémon no matter where they are hiding.

Days ago, Niantic released some update notes of Pokemon Go. As the official site say, Pokemon Go is in the process of being updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS.

Here are some notes about the update:

  • Trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokemon at a time to Professor Willow. To use this function, press and hold on a Pokemon.
  • Pokemon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen.
  • The total Candy count for your Buddy Pokemon has been added to the buddy information screen.
  • The total kilometers a buddy has walked has been added to the information screen of each Pokemon that has ever been your buddy.

Pokemon Go Event Begin On December 8th?

Accroding to a memo to employees regarding a new promotion, Starbucks managers mentioned an upcoming event that would see the coffee chain collaborate with Niantic for the launch of Pokemon Go “version 2.”

Starbucks updated its retail website with detailed information about an upcoming Pokemon Go event that is set to begin on December 8th, coinciding with a “new update” that will bring “new Pokemon” to the game.

As speculated, a number of Starbucks Stores are to become Gyms or PokeStops. This may also be a way to roll out new PokeStops and Gyms. And having coffee shop gyms will likely help cold-weather players have a more enjoyable gym scene. Starbucks stores will serve a promotional Pokemon Go Frappuccino from December 8th to stir up interest.

More info shows the promotion will last “until supplies last.” It appears the PokeStop/Gym rollout and new species additions being a one-time event and the promo drink lasting until supplies last.

And what worth pointing out is that the client-side code for the next 100 species is already in the app. Data miners recently uncovered that Pokemon Go holds files for Johto region (Pokemon Gold and Silver) monsters deep within its code, despite them not being available in the wild right now. It remains to be seen whether these new Pokemon are indeed those 100 gen 2 critters.

Additionally, none of this has been confirmed by either Niantic or Starbucks. We'll keep you updated with more news regarding the event. Stay tuned!

Pokemon Go: Some Of The 8th Nest Migrations

There have been a lot of changes and updates in Pokemon Go in the past few months since it was released. For example, the 8th nest migration of Pokemon Go has taken place on Dec. 1. What nest migrations have you experienced in your area? Here we'll give you some of the latest migrations.

The Eighth Nest Migration

The nests in Pokemon Go are the areas where a vast volume of the same species of Pokemon is expected to be captured. That said, Niantic changes what species spawn randomly in any nest to keep things fresh. This means that while the actual nest migration in Pokemon Go remains the same, the new Pokemon will be there. However, this migration is generally random, and so not every Charmander or Psyduck nest around the world will have seen the same change.

Using The Silph Road you can get more helpful tips on what nests have changed. So if you are interested in what nests have changed near you, make use of the helpful website. On the map reported by The Silph Road, players around the world report nest sightings, and the service lets you see how recent the reports are so you can know if they reflect the recent migration. Since the eighth migration took place last week on December 1st, if the reports about a nest came prior to the date, then these reports are believed to be no longer accurate.

Pokemon Go: Gen 2 Pokemon Release Date Have Been Leaked?

One of the highlights of Pokemon Go is its nearby tracking feature, and the new nearby tracker has been expanded to some countries. Among the feature update and holiday events, Pokemon Go trainers are also waiting for the release of Gen 2 Pokemon.

Earlier this week, rumors spread across the Pokemon Go forums, communities and social media about the possible release date of Gen 2 Pokemon. It all started when a Starbucks employee released leak details of the release of Gen 2 Pokemon.

The Starbucks employee said: "I work at Starbucks and this is one of the most recent updates we received from corporate. Now, it’s hard to say whether or not this specifically refers to Generation 2 (although what else could it mean?), whether or not Starbucks and Niantic are partnered up, or if this will even be pushed out on the date specified (things don’t always go to plan). However, it all makes sense to me, but this would be a huge update. Based on the description of the event, it would require Niantic to put a Pokestop at every Starbucks. Lastly, I realize this may seem strange, especially with the 'Pokeman', but it’s a real email and I can send proof to the mods if required. Regardless, this isn’t anything concrete and pretty vague, and no other information was given to us. As a huge fan of Pokemon and Pokemon Go, I couldn't not share the news with everyone. Fingers crossed that it’s gonna happen!"

All above of Pokemon Go Gen 2 leak details are pointing to some new features of Pokemon Go which are the sponsors and partnership between Niantic and other companies. Niantic didn’t release any statement about this rumors, Pokemon Go community are still hoping that this is true.

Whatever, we all know that the Gen 2 Pokemon update will arrive soon. So stay tuned at Pokemongobux for more game updates or Pokemon Go Accounts.

Pokemon Go: Other Effective Way To Catch Ditto

Since Ditto have been released by Niantic in Pokemon Go, there are no effective ways can trace the exact location of Ditto in the Pokemon map. Since Ditto can hide and disguise its true form to any form of Pokemon, it cost players many time to catch Ditto.

Accroding to Pokemon Go Pocket, there is an available app that can help you to track Ditto nearby. The app is called the "Poketrack" which is only available for android devices as of now. The "Pokemon Go" players who have used "Poketrack" have managed to obtain at least four Ditto in one use.

To use the "Poketrack", the first thing you should do is installing that app after download, then start the app right away and click on "settings" the player will deselect all the Pokemon leaving out the Ditto.

Then, players must change the search radius in order to specifically locate Ditto. It's said that the more account you create, the better the tracker will function. In order for players to get more chances in catching Ditto they must create various account by clicking "manage scanners".

Players must click on the "use real-time scanner" button and return to the main screen of "Poketrack". The app will then perform the scanning of Ditto and will locate one as near as possible so you could finally catch a Ditto.

Somebody has test this app, and it cost him 5-10 minutes to track down and catch a Ditto.

Since Niantic is still on the verge of banning players and disabling third-party apps. There is no guarantee that players will be safe when they will use the "Poketrack". So, it's possible that players will be banned by Niantic.

Do you want to use "Poketrack" to catch Ditto? Give a try by clicking here for the app.

Pokemon Go: Get The Best Eggs By Finding The Right PokeStops

As one of the better sources of Pokemon Go data on the web, the Silph Road recently published the results of a study that tracked the hatching of over 1,800 Pokemon eggs in Pokemon Go to see whether certain PokeStops consistently dropped better eggs than others. The results are encouraging for some, though perhaps infuriating for others.

As we know, PokeStops in Pokemon Go can spit out three different kinds of Poke Balls as well as multiple types of potions, revives and other powerups when you spin their Photo Discs. What potential rewards you'll receive from a stop depends in part on your trainer level. For example, you won't find Ultra Balls at PokeStops if you're still a low-level trainer.

Hatch 10km Eggs To Add Elusive Snorlax

PokeStops also spit out Pokemon eggs, which come in three varieties based on how many kilometers you must walk before the egg hatches: 2km, 5km or 10km. Generally speaking, the longer you have to walk, the higher the chance a rare Pokemon will come out. Hatching 10km eggs can be an easy way to add the elusive Snorlax to your Pokedex.

Get 2km Eggs Out Of Your Inventory

If there's one item in Pokemon Go that's worth spending real money on, it's the egg incubator. Without the purchase of some incubators, your egg inventory will constantly be gummed up with low-quality eggs.

When you pick up an egg in Pokemon Go, it is stuck in your inventory until the egg is incubated and hatched. It can take a long time to incubate a full inventory of nine eggs using only the single unlimited-use incubator you're given.

The key to using eggs effectively in Pokemon Go is to get 2km eggs out of your inventory as quickly as possible, so that you have a chance to fill those slots with 5km or 10km eggs, instead. The 2km eggs might all give you common Pokemon that you couldn't care less about, which is precisely why you need them out of your inventory.

Get The Best Eggs By Finding The Right PokeStops

The Silph Road's study into PokeStops and egg quality was conducted by 26 players, each of whom hatched at least 50 eggs from a single PokeStop. Data on 1,841 eggs was recorded in total.

According to Silph Research, the researchers "are confident" that all PokeStops do not award eggs based on the same distribution model. In other words, one PokeStop may consistently be more likely to drop 5km eggs than another PokeStop, and you can determine which PokeStops they are through observation.

The difference in egg quality between PokeStops could also become quite apparent once you're actively looking for it.

Regardless, this research paints a grim picture for Pokemon Go players in rural areas, who may not have many PokeStops to choose from. If their PokeStops tend to drop fewer 5km or 10km eggs than others, they may be out of luck.

Pokemon Go Nearby Tracker Is Worse Than Sightings

Days ago, Pokemon Go creator Niantic Labs announced that the Nearby Pokemon feature is expanding to the rest of the continental United States and large parts of Europe. However, it's confirmed that a lot of users aren't pleased with how the new Pokemon GO Nearby tracker has turned out.

While Sightings showed you some of the Pokemon that were in your vicinity at any given time and the footstep tracker showed footstep icons next to the creatures to show you their proximity from your current location, the new tracker doesn't feature any of that.

Tapping on the Nearby tool will launch images of several Photo Discs corresponding to PokeStops, or the circular images that are spun when collecting resources from a PokeStop. On the lower right of these Photo Discs are Pokemon associated with the PokeStop in question, and you’ll also see some footstep icons to suggest the distance you need to walk in order to catch said Pokemon. But Mic notes that there are some problems with the Pokemon GO Nearby tracker, specifically its vagueness in terms of measuring distance.

"The Nearby tool appears to be just as arbitrary at measuring distances as the old Sightings tool," wrote Mic.

"As a result, some of the PokeStops you see in your Nearby menu might not actually be anything close to what you would consider 'nearby.' Some of those PokeStops could actually represent a meaningful jaunt from your current location."

Pokemon GO gamers have also taken to Reddit to register complaints about the new Nearby tool and how it apparently doesn’t make tracking Pokemon any easier. A Redditor with the handle SapphireSamurai was quoted by Mic as saying the tracker is even worse than Sightings ever was.

"When I’m at home I used to be able to see nine different Pokemon on my sightings list. Now I can only see what’s at the one stop that's a 15-minute walk away. One Pidgey. Woo."

A separate report from Forbes acknowledged another common complaint with the new Pokemon GO Nearby tracker – it’s all well and good if you’re living in the city and have a lot of PokeStops in your area, but useless for those who live in rural areas where the PokeStops are few and far in between. But Forbes gaming writer Paul Tassi believes Niantic might not have erred in releasing an unpopular and arguably ineffective tracker, but might have instead kept monetization and sponsorships in mind when making the tracker very PokeStop-centric.

“There are lots of ads that encourage you to buy things at stores or eat at restaurants, but how many actually encourage you to physically go there at that exact moment? Very few, and that’s why Pokemon GO has an incredibly unique marketing opportunity with this new tracking system.”

In a word, the new Pokemon GO Nearby tracker have got less-than-favorable reviews. It may be best for Niantic to keep both its new tracker and its old Sightings tool active.
